My frozen heart

Written by Lady Jude

My frozen heart

Jealousy sprinkled snow upon my heart
Giving me chills I couldn’t ignore
Frozen out and now all alone
My heart raced to keep warm

With my heart frozen solid
I prayed the sun would come out
When it did it melted the snow
And my frozen heart slowly thawed

Now I’m over my darkest hours
My heart begins to beat stronger
My heart is warmer than the cold
And much more wiser for the experience
