The power of a smile
Together we’ve battle many storms
Whenever our world turned crazy
You’ve only ever had to smile your smile
And we’ve shined together whatever the weather
Whenever my heart burdened me
If a teardrop should ever fall
You’d only ever have to smile that smile
And my heart would simply melt into yours
Whenever our journey became darkened
You’ve always been able to look on the brighter side
You’d be able to lead us towards the light
Your positive approach always lightened the load
We’ve learned to dance through a storm
Until rainbows could break through our rainy days
You’ve always believed in smiling threw it all
Even when our world roared like thunder
You’ve shown me the power of a smile
A smile can shine like the sun on a rainy day
A smile can brighten any storm weathered

Whether one smiles all the time or not often can depend on a set of circumstances…having said that…once someone has been the recipient of a genuine smile there’s nothing warmer.:o) hugs m’lady…
I don’t know how people can’t smile. It’s just says so much about a person. Most people think a smile is a smile, but I think of it as a way of life. If you choose to smile, life will be more for you, if you choose not to smile, life won’t have as many things to offer. Plus, I love smiles. I don’t like to see people so bland or boring or unhappy looking, it just makes you want to slap them till a smile is permanent on their face.Your amazing poem reminds me of my mom telling me, "Smile and the world will smile at you".
